Thursday Night Thinking #175
I took the last few days off (mostly because the weather made me not feel like posting). But if there's one thing I won't miss it's Thursday Night Thinking!
There was a lot of good stuff in this week's Superman 80-Page Giant. But for my money the Jimmy Olsen story was far and away the best. It really encapsulates the madness that life must be when you're Jimmy Olsen...Labels: Jimmy Olsen, Superman, Thursday Night Thinking

You know...I've been looking at the past Eisner award winners, and I can't help but notice that DC tends to take the win on several categories. Then I realized that I read Marvel, and there is a noticeable lack of awards with the Marvel listed next to them. I'm..just too set in my ways. Plus, learning a completely new universe worth of lore makes my brain bleed.
Poor Jimmie. At least he doesn't have to take pictures of Spider-Man.
I think that the whole Marvel/DC dichotomy is a matter of personal taste in a lot of ways. I don't tend to put much stock in awards and whatnot. I just read what I enjoy and find entertaining. I truly believe that everybody should try to do the same.
