Prelude to Blackest Night
Well, tomorrow's the big day. Blackest Night begins. We have some idea of what to expect, but beyond that the whole story is sort of a mystery. Here are my predictions for issue one:
- We'll get some concrete hints to the "Big Bad."
- Coast City will be trashed again.
- Black Hand will do something creepy.
- The Guardians will reveal another new law.
- Someone will reference Hal having been Parallax.
- An unexpected Green Lantern villain will make an appearance.
- Hal Jordan will do something tremendously stupid.

Amazingly, none of us were thinking big enough, yet.
You're right on that account. It was much, much bigger than any guesses I could make...
I think we ALL know that you can pretty much guarantee #7.
Hal Jordan did do something tremendously stupid. In his image to Barry you can clearly see the real Azrael just underneath his cape.
Not only does Barry not know who this is, but Azrael isn't dead. And even if he was, his public career began and ended while those two were dead.
It makes no sense for him to be there!
