Oooh a Green Lantern thing I know! How exciting. (For me). I read this issue the other day.
I'm guessing that he later hit his head, and forgot that he had turned all those people invisible, and To This Day, They Are Wandering Around Invisible!
And somehow, they'll save us all in Blackest Night.
Actually, I don't think he did hit his head in this issue. There was some dodgy scientific reason for turning them invisible though..

In my defence this is the first time I've ever sat down to read silver age stuff...well except for that green arrow showcase volume..
either way, it's fun!
