Secret Six #1
Oh, how I love Gail Simone. Let me count the ways. Let me count six of them:
1. Ice cream as a weapon. A delicious, delicious weapon.
2. The sweetest, stupidest gift ever.
3. Cat-Man and Deadshot: BFF.
4. The comedy stylings of Bane!
5. "The bat knows, Blake."
6. I AM READING A SECRET SIX ONGOING COMIC RIGHT NOW!!!!
Some weeks in comics are happier than others. This is one of the happiest. Now I'm going to go read it again.

Heh heh. And it's only the first issue1
I have to agree. While I didn't belabor it on my own blog, the Secret Six was full of joy this week, and the promise of more.
Nicola Scott really did a good job with this first issue too...they way she drew Scandal's bloodshot, tired eyes...SOO sad and cute.
There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about this issue. It even made me go back and re-read all the other stuff Gail has written with them.
Does happy dance.
I think D.C. have turned a corner just recently.
